 COURSESOnline Classes/Distance Learning

Distance Education at Torrance Adult School offers students a convenient way to take classes. We are in the process of developing a wide variety of online courses. TAS is fully accredited and our online courses offer the same high quality of instruction as our traditional (“face-to-face”) classes. The registration process, course content and cost is similar to equivalent courses held on campus. Anyone eligible to take courses on campus may enroll in Distance Education courses. Many of our online courses require an orientation meeting on campus for the first meeting. Some classes are hybrid, with most instruction online and some in-person class meetings.
